Hearth — Personal

Exploring, Condensed
Hearth was a thesis sub-project aimed at discovering what makes a place a home. Treated more like a curation of sorts, found media was collected online, and laid it out into a zine meant to bring awareness of different types of living.

Originally an expedition into the ideals of the Tiny House movement, it grew to be more of a project driven by finding the tipping point of calling a place "home." Is it location? Material? Surroundings? Furniture?
The project was completed between myself and a classmate.
We explored the thought of leaving them around places were magazines would normally be - doctors offices, coffee shops, salons, libraries - to disrupt and bring in new thoughts. That idea later evolved into creating our own respective thesis projects.
