As I honed my skills as a graphic designer and art director, I embraced more dynamic roles at MRM, including helping the company pitch new work to clients, expand business, and build relationships. Our small but mighty team produced these videos during extra hours or after work, with me handling the shooting, editing, and animation. Despite the constraints, the results were outstanding, earning us high praise and accolades.
These efforts not only led to additional work being sold but also significantly contributed to my growth as an animator and editor. The success of these internal pitch videos highlighted our team's creativity and dedication, reinforcing our reputation for delivering exceptional work and strengthening our client relationships.
Enhancing Engagement
Pitch videos for Buick & GMC CRM Content2015 — 2016
In an effort to provide more relevant and engaging content for Buick & GMC owners, our creative team at MRM//McCann developed and pitched two comprehensive campaigns titled "Dynamic Content." These campaigns were designed to adapt to the owner's journey: for car buyers, we included elements that directed them towards accessories and ideas to keep them engaged, while for accessory purchasers, we focused on fostering brand engagement rather than a hard sell approach.
The videos we created for both Buick and GMC were well-received, leading to an expansion of our roles in content creation and establishing us as thought leaders. My contributions to this project included motion graphics, video editing, sound design, and art direction for the mockups. This pitch not only showcased our innovative approach to personalized content but also demonstrated our commitment to enhancing customer experience through creative strategies.

Social Media Pitches for General Motors’ Factory Pre-Owned Collection 2017 — 2018
These proof-of-concept videos were developed for a Facebook and Instagram ad campaign to promote General Motors' Factory Pre-Owned Collection (now known as Certified Pre-Owned). As Instagram and Facebook began rolling out compatibility with square video formats, we seized the opportunity to create technologically relevant and captivating content tailored for these platforms.
My contributions to this project included animation, sound mixing, typography, and the final edit. The square format videos effectively showcased the Factory Pre-Owned Collection, helping to modernize GM's advertising approach and engage a broader audience on social media. This project exemplified our ability to adapt to emerging trends and deliver innovative content that resonated with viewers.
