Highlighting Creativity
At the outset of my advertising career, I honed my skills as a budding video editor and motion graphics animator at MRM Detroit. During my initial years with the company, I was instrumental in creating dynamic sizzle reels that showcased our team's impressive work. These reels played a crucial role in engaging prospective clients and enhancing pitch meetings, effectively highlighting our creative capabilities and project successes.
The sizzle reels were a collaborative effort, blending my technical expertise with the innovative output of the MRM team. Through this experience, I not only cemented my proficiency in video editing and motion graphics but also contributed to the agency's ability to attract and secure new business. This period was foundational in shaping my career and establishing my role in the creative industry.
Sizzle Reel — MRM & Coca Cola

Capture The Feeling
MRM//McCann had a small team working within to help launch an intranet website for Coca Cola, and this video was used to help showcase the extent of that work - and how well it was received by the employees that use it. Spoiler alert: they love it.

Diversity in Work and Talent
Seen as an up-and-comer by the MRM corporate offices, the Detroit office wanted to prove itself using a sizzle reel. Not only would it be something to share with the other offices, but something we were able to use in our pitches to clients, to sell us on our abilities to get stuff done.
The work was compiled by coworkers and myself over the course of a couple weeks. The footage was shot with myself and some other art directors, and I was set with creating the motion graphics and doing sound and video editing.

New Perspectives
In collaboration with my partner Andrew Schultz and several colleagues at MRM//McCann, I played a key role in the creation of a sizzle reel that highlights the courageous and determined Achilles Freedom Team of Wounded Veterans. This project, which also showcased their partnership with General Motors, was a labor of love from start to finish. From concepting and storyboarding to filming and editing, we utilized our own equipment to ensure a truly handcrafted final product.
The in-house production process involved meticulous planning and collaboration. My partner and I handled all aspects of footage shooting and editing, resulting in a powerful and heartfelt reel that was prominently featured on General Motors' Military Discount website. This project not only underscored the importance of storytelling in advertising but also celebrated the extraordinary efforts and spirit of wounded veterans.

Engaging Introductions
To kick off MRM//McCann's 2016 Presentation Camp, I created a lighthearted video introducing the internal Analytics team to the program. Presentation Camp is designed to enhance participants' skills in presenting big ideas to clients, and this video served as a fun and engaging way to set the tone for the event. With contributions from Andrew Kozinski, who helped handle graphics, art direction, and finding good cameo scenes, and Cody Barz, who provided the script, scene flow, and voiceover, we really worked together to get it done.
This internal video aimed to break the ice and ease participants into the camp's activities. By blending familiar comedic scenes with informative content, we managed to create an inviting atmosphere that encouraged team members to engage fully with the program. The collaborative effort ensured that the video was both visually appealing and effectively communicated the goals of Presentation Camp.
